Plates
Six charts from the current catalogue. Each is an edition of forty, printed on cotton paper and tinted by hand.
Harrow Sands
Scale 1:12,000. 60 × 45 cm.
Survey notes
Surveyed over four spring tides. The old lane across the sands is marked in magenta where the sea has taken it.
Scaur Delta
Scale 1:8,000. 30 × 45 cm.
Survey notes
Three channels shifted between our 2019 and 2025 walks. The dashed line is where the main channel ran six years ago.
Kettle Ice Edge
Scale 1:25,000. 30 × 45 cm.
Survey notes
One terminus line for each year from 2016 to 2025. The current edge is in magenta; the rest sit behind it like tree rings.
The Long Flat
Scale 1:10,000. 60 × 45 cm.
Survey notes
Ripple lines taken at the lowest tide of the year. The pale band is the strip that never quite dries; the magenta dot is the beacon.
Reedmouth Estuary
Scale 1:15,000. 45 × 30 cm.
Survey notes
The magenta line is the deep channel as it ran at the 2024 survey. Soundings are in metres at low water.
Gull Chain
Scale 1:6,000. 45 × 30 cm.
Survey notes
Three islets that join at the lowest tides. Printed in a smaller run because the middle one is shrinking.
